Asphalt

Taranis Contracting Group's Asphalt Division offers both centralized and portable asphalt manufacturing operations. We can provide a wide variety of high quality regular and performance grade asphalt mixes. Our large, diverse asphalt manufacturing operations give us the competitive edge. We serve both the private and public sectors in a cost effective and efficient manner.

Taranis manufactures asphalt mixes for projects at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. We also provide asphalt for airport authorities and local paving contractors. This illustrates the scale of our work and our ability to manage every type of project, from small commercial jobs to complex construction projects, and multi-lane highways.

Asphalt Production

Our Roslyn Hot Mix facility is located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Each batch of asphalt is made using a specific asphalt mix design to meet the needs of your project.  In many cases production of the asphalt is produced on site. Our highly mobile asphalt manufacturing plant is relocated to the work site and asphalt products are produced on-site ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.

In addition, custom asphalt mixes can be provided as needed for specific jobs. We deliver the asphalt to your job site in tri-axle dumptrucks with heated boxes to keep the asphalt at an optimum temperature.
