Taranis Contracting can install new municipal and private sanitary sewer, stormwater, and potable water facilities, including catch basin and manhole maintenance and installation. This includes excavation and installation of the needed pipes and meters for these systems as well as making the necessary connections to municipal facilities. By having us collaborate with your architect early in the building design process, a long lasting, efficient system that reduces water use can be installed. Repair or replacement of existing sewer and water systems is also available.
Taranis has done sewer and water infrastructure work for several municipalities throughout Northwestern Ontario including the City of Thunder Bay. In 2007 Taranis was awarded the May Street reconstruction contract by the City of Thunder Bay. The work included the installation of new stormwater and sanitary sewers as well as water main replacement, new curb and gutter, sidewalks, and asphalt paving. The work was located along several blocks of the City's busy South Core business districts and included upgrading some underground utilities that had been untouched since their original construction more than 90 years earlier.
